About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a Radiologic Technologist PRN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assess patients to determine the appropriate imaging procedures and ensure that they are properly positioned and prepared for imaging.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and imaging procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
  • Active enrollment in and good standing in an ARRT-accredited Radiography program and completion of at least two semesters of the program.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT certification in Radiography or related field.
  • Experience working in a radiology department or related field.
  • Knowledge of radiographic procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
