Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Visitation Worker to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of families and children in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact referral sources and clients within 5 business days of receiving a referral.
  • Coordinate and conduct supervised visitation services for DCP&P referred families.
  • Establish visit parameters with all parties involved and provide transportation as needed.
  • Document activity and interaction between family members during visits and provide reports to caseworkers.
  • Complete program paperwork in a timely manner, including end-of-month reports and weekly schedules.
  • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings and mandatory trainings.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma with 60+ college credits or a Bachelor's Degree in a related human service field.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Physical ability to lift small children and car seats.
  • Demonstrated high level of cultural competence, sensitivity, and responsiveness.
  • A safe driving record.
Additional Responsibilities

During the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be assigned to additional duties, including enhanced cleaning, temperature taking, and directing members/visitors. You will be expected to follow all organizational protocols and procedures to ensure the health and wellness of employees and visitors.
