Myers and Stauffer LC is a certified public accounting and health and human services reimbursement consulting firm seeking a Staff Auditor to perform compliance reviews of government health and/or human services programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review statutory/regulatory or other policy language and apply requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct various on-site audits and desk reviews
  • Conduct research in order to determine reimbursement compliance with relevant government program regulations
  • Prepare working papers to document scope and findings of audit in accordance with government program regulations and AICPA standards
  • Demonstrate excellence in communication skills, data gathering, analysis, reporting, and process improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; Master's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Must be able to travel out of state 80%+ based on client and business needs
  • Minimum GPA of 3.25 preferred
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
