In this position, you will take charge of the design, development, and execution of control systems tailored for diverse industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with various stakeholders from project initiation to completion to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project objectives and timelines.
  • Develop precise specifications for interactions with company machinery.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers of automated systems during the design phase to confirm intended operational capabilities.
  • Assist the Electrical Engineering Team in system design, including component selection, input/output strategies, and schematic documentation.
  • Design and modify robotic programming applications utilizing relevant software tools.
  • Develop and adjust Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming applications using suitable software.
  • Design and modify Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications.
  • Establish and evaluate barcode and pattern recognition vision programming applications with appropriate software.
  • Instruct on robot tool center points, user frames, and pick-and-place positions.
  • Troubleshoot robot, PLC, HMI, and vision programs during system testing and commissioning to ensure functionality, safety standards, and reliability.
  • Support the Automation Support Engineering Team with system troubleshooting.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow engineers regarding issues and collaborate on timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Participate in risk assessments related to automation equipment.
