About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and presentations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
  • Maintain and update company databases and records.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of bids and proposals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Assist with project tracking, task management, and communication between departments to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Organize internal and external events, including team meetings, training sessions, and company-wide functions.
  • Oversee company supplies, equipment maintenance, and manage relationships with office vendors.
  • Manage office inventory and supplies, ordering new items as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and service providers, managing inquiries, resolving issues, and routing information to relevant departments.
  • Support the HR department with various tasks, such as maintaining employee records and organizing company events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the utility industry is an asset, but not required.
Work Schedule

Typical work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday with occasional after-hour events. This role may be eligible for three remote work days a week.
