Role Purpose:
The Customer Service Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Customer Service department with various daily tasks and responsibilities. The individual will assist in the smooth operation of the department, which includes managing phone communications, coordinating driver dispatch, and maintaining updated records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Compliance Duties Include:
- Responding to incoming customer inquiries
- Providing updates to the Customer Service team regarding dispatch and customer interactions
- Maintaining and updating dispatch logs and sheets with relevant information
- Utilizing dispatch software for operational efficiency
- Reviewing and responding to emails in a timely manner
- Keeping the Customer Service team informed about ongoing projects
- Assisting other departments as required
- Ensuring consistent attendance and reliability
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and organizational tasks, is essential.
