Solar Project Manager

As a Project Manager I - Solar, you will play a critical role in managing site-based project management of utility scale solar projects. Your expertise will be essential in delivering projects that meet client expectations and exceed their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project plans, host kick-off meetings, update and close out meetings for the project.
  • Manage project required construction permits as a prerequisite for project inception.
  • Manage and maintain the project schedule from pre-construction to project close-out.
  • Allocate budget, costs to date, forecast cost to completion, procurement, and materials management.
  • Manage contracts and change orders, ensuring compliance with client contracts and associated exhibits.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a safety and quality-oriented attitude, and ensuring all site team members understand and adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, executive management, and site personnel, providing regular updates on project progress and variances.
  • Manage site personnel, creating a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring proper staffing coverage at all times during project construction.
  • Utilize Safety Management Systems (SMS), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and technical procedures to ensure compliance and excellence.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years in Project Management required; 2+ years in Solar EPC preferred.
  • Domestic travel of 75% - 100%.
  • Valid driver's license required.
