Job Summary:
The Solar Project Manager I - Solar will oversee the site-based project management of utility-scale solar projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, and client satisfaction.

This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, solar energy systems, and construction practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet client requirements and expectations.

Project Planning:
* Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
* Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure project progress and resolution of issues.

Budgeting and Cost Management:
* Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
* Identify and mitigate potential cost risks, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time.

Contract Management:
* Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise.

Leadership and Team Management:
* Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects successfully.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and morale.

Quality Assurance and Control:
* Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure projects meet client requirements and expectations.
* Identify and address any quality issues or concerns, ensuring they are resolved promptly and effectively.

Environmental and Safety Considerations:
* Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including those related to solar energy systems and construction practices.
* Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the solar energy industry.
* Strong understanding of project management principles, solar energy systems, and construction practices.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Benefits:
* Competitive salary range: $114,000 - $134,000.
* Bonus eligibility and performance-based incentives.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
* Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
* Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
