Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Community Operations Assistant to join our team at Wallick Communities. This role is essential in supporting the management of our affordable housing communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operations of housing communities, ensuring they meet company standards for safety and comfort.
  • Support the Community Manager in maintaining occupancy levels and managing the application process for prospective residents.
  • Facilitate the collection of all payments due to the community, including rent.
  • Help foster positive relationships with both residents and property owners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support community operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role or similar position, demonstrating strong leadership and process management skills.
  • Familiarity with HUD Section 8 regulations is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Yardi being a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality and detail.
