Agricultural Sales Representative

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Retailer in Western Nebraska to hire an Agronomy Salesperson.
Job Summary:The primary role will be to work directly in the field with area growers to promote annual sales of a full line of agriculture products including fertilizer, Ag chemical, and seed.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers and other stakeholders in the agricultural industry.
- Provide expert knowledge and guidance on agriculture products and services to growers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide innovative solutions to growers.
- 2 or 4-year Agronomy or other Ag-related degree.
- Agronomy sales experience preferred; Employer will also consider recent college graduate with summer internships.
- Basic knowledge of Western Nebraska crops, Ag chemicals, fertilizer, seed, Precision Ag and other services offered through an Agronomy retail center.
- Strong customer-focus.
- Attentive to detail.
- Good computer skills.
- Valid driver license; CDL beneficial but not required.
- Preference for an individual from the area or looking to return.
- Competitive Base Salary, Depending on Experience, plus Bonuses based on Personal Performance and Performance of Ag Retailer.
