Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Retailer in Western Nebraska to hire an Agronomy Salesperson.

Job Summary:

The primary role will be to work directly in the field with area growers to promote annual sales of a full line of agriculture products including fertilizer, Ag chemical, and seed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers and other stakeholders in the agricultural industry.
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on agriculture products and services to growers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide innovative solutions to growers.
Requirements:
  • 2 or 4-year Agronomy or other Ag-related degree.
  • Agronomy sales experience preferred; Employer will also consider recent college graduate with summer internships.
  • Basic knowledge of Western Nebraska crops, Ag chemicals, fertilizer, seed, Precision Ag and other services offered through an Agronomy retail center.
  • Strong customer-focus.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Valid driver license; CDL beneficial but not required.
  • Preference for an individual from the area or looking to return.
