Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II PRN to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with necessary equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures to provide high-quality patient care
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate and efficient results
  • Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient procedure
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication to ensure a positive patient experience
  • Assist in collecting data for quality improvement initiatives and conducting quality control on equipment
Requirements
  • Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiarity with the majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
  • High degree of manual, critical thinking skills, and dexterity skills necessary for operation of equipment and patient care
