Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II PRN to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with necessary equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain technical skills
  • Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Provide care to assigned patients and ensure a safe patient care environment
  • Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment
Requirements
  • Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiar with the majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
