Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will deliver essential administrative support to the team by organizing and maintaining inspection documentation, updating records, initiating electronic approvals, and performing various clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct acceptance testing for incoming materials, processes, and finished products.
  • Input inspection logs into Excel and relevant IT systems.
  • Maintain and service inspection equipment.
  • Submit electronic approvals for consumables, supplies, goods, and replacement parts.
  • Create spreadsheets, presentations, documents, and internal reports.
  • Track operator hiring, training, certification, allocation, flexibility, and promotions.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as required, including photocopying, collecting, and filing.
  • Coordinate 5S activities with other teams.
  • Collaborate with Production Coordinators on plant-wide projects.
  • Work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma or GED required (a 2 or 3-year technical degree or certificate is preferred but not mandatory).
  • 1 to 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Mathematical skills, including the ability to add and subtract decimals.
  • Ability to read and interpret graphs and measurements.
  • Willingness to engage in training, particularly in technical and problem-solving areas.
  • Capacity to remain on feet for up to 8-12 hours per shift.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Demonstrated passion, sustainability mindset, self-motivation, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
