The Operations Officer will be responsible for conducting detailed planning, coordination, and synchronization of program management activities for assigned organizations. This includes acting as the primary interface between organization leadership and higher-level leaders, coordinating documentation, and obtaining required signatures.
Key Responsibilities- Manage program calendars and coordinate meetings
- Record and distribute meeting notes and action items
- Provide status updates on action items, reports, and assigned tasks
- Coordinate and distribute materials for meetings, briefings, and conferences
- Ensure compliance with DoDI and Army Regulation 70-1
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in coordinating and collaborating the management of complex DoD engineering or technical programs. Experience working on military acquisition programs, preferably ground combat vehicle systems, is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with DoDI, Army Regulation 70-1, and Microsoft Excel.
Education and CertificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Logistics, Quality, Production, or a related technical field is required. A Master's degree may be preferred.
Security ClearanceThe candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
