Main Responsibilities

The Human Resource Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Division Head, ensuring the implementation of hotel policies, standards, and procedures related to administrative functions.

Key duties include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Division Head
  • Ensuring the implementation of hotel policies, standards, and procedures
  • Locating and attaching file correspondence to be answered by the Division Head
  • Typing, filing, and maintaining private and confidential matters related to the department
  • Setting up a systematic and efficient filing system
  • Ensuring all files are up-to-date
  • Preparing materials for meetings attended by the Division Head
  • Answering telephone calls and providing information to callers
  • Making copies of correspondence and other printed matters
  • Typing, taking dictation, and minutes, drafting letters, filing, and tracing correspondence
  • Maintaining the proper appearance of the Division's office area
  • Maintaining organised files
  • Reading and routing incoming mail and outgoing correspondences
  • Handling outgoing mail by courier
  • Ensuring travel authorisation forms are completed and signed
  • Taking note of travel dates and recording details in the Travel Insurance Book
  • Preparing submission of medical claims to the insurance company
  • Submitting the Director of Human Resources' expense claim to the General Manager for approval
  • Handling monthly requisition of stationery and dry goods stores
Customer Service

The Human Resource Coordinator will provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues, maintaining positive interactions and good working relationships.

Key duties include:

  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person
  • Handling guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions
Financial

The Human Resource Coordinator will focus on improving productivity levels and prudently managing utility and payroll costs within acceptable guidelines.

Key duties include:

  • Improving productivity levels
  • Prudently managing utility and payroll costs
  • Embracing new technology and equipment to improve productivity
Personnel

The Human Resource Coordinator will support the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt's Values and Culture Characteristics.
