Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team at Meridian Health Services as a Skill Builder. This role involves providing skills and development training to assist patients and/or families in developing skills directed towards achieving developmental milestones and reducing psychosocial barriers.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years paid behavioral healthcare experience or equivalent college coursework toward a human services or health-related degree. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are also required.
The Skill Builder will work collaboratively with the Therapist and medical staff to ensure coordination of integrated care for the patient, including identification of health issues, compliance with treatment, and effective patient to medical provider communication.
Key responsibilities include assisting the Therapist in developing, implementing, and revising individual treatment plans, providing individual and group skills training and development, and completing CANS/ANSA re-assessments.
