**Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler****Job Description**We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Assembler B to provide support in our facility located in Smithfield, PA. This position involves performing routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using manual operations. The role supports continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology. Travel to other facilities is required. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the specified location.**Hard Skills**+ Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification change design)+ 1 year of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics+ 1 year of experience working with precision measuring tools+ 1 year of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems using production industry standards+ 1 year of experience with machine shop processes+ Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams, and schematics)+ Ability to differentiate production manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements+ Experience in evaluating and qualifying materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure conformance and production requirements+ Complete knowledge of shop processes including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)+ IPC 620 certification or ability to achieve it through training+ J-STD-001 certification or ability to achieve it through training+ Electro-mechanical assembly experience (on the job or schooling)**Soft Skills**+ Commitment to the mission and motivation to combine the team's energy and expertise to achieve a common objective+ Understanding of the dynamics of effective teamwork to attain higher levels of performance+ Ability to work as a member of a team**Job Type**This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 120 Day(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Smithfield, Pennsylvania.**Work Environment**This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
