We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assistant to join our HSS Department at Stamford Hospital. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with patients via two-way audio to prevent unsafe behaviors and conditions.
- Establish a relationship with patients to enhance care and communication, and streamline the care process.
- Utilize resources to plan and provide services that are safe, effective, and financially responsible.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have one of the following: Certified CNA, enrolled in an accredited nursing program, graduate of a foreign nursing program, or graduate of an accredited nursing program with failed board licensure.
- Heart Saver or equivalent certification required.
Full-time, evening shift, Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm. No weekends or holidays.
Mobility is necessary to provide patient care. Physical effort is required to assist patients with transfer and ambulation, which may involve lifting, pushing, and pulling patients. Hearing within normal range is necessary to properly conduct assessments. Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking.
