We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assistant to join our HSS Department at Stamford Hospital. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with patients via two-way audio to prevent unsafe behaviors and conditions.
- Create a positive relationship with patients to enhance care and communication, and streamline the care process wherever possible.
- Utilize appropriate resources to plan and provide services that are safe, effective, and financially responsible.
- Minimum of high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must have one of the following: Certified from a CNA program, enrolled in an accredited nursing program, graduate of a foreign nursing program, or graduate of an accredited nursing program with failed board licensure.
- Heart Saver or equivalent required.
This is a full-time, evening shift position, Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm. No weekends or holidays. Mobility is necessary to provide patient care, and physical effort is required to assist patients with transfer and ambulation.
