Job Title:

Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice in Banking and Real Estate

Job Summary:

The College of Business at North Dakota State University is seeking a full-time (non-tenure track) assistant or associate professor of practice in banking and real estate for the Department of Transportation, Logistics, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach three 3-credit courses each semester during the regular academic year in areas such as banking, real estate, wealth management, and other related fields.
  • Engage with external industry stakeholders in banking, real estate, and investment strategies through service and engagement activities.
  • Conduct optional applied research, including practitioner research with undergraduate students, case studies, and related projects.
  • Meet faculty qualification standards for accreditation and industry experience in banking or related fields.
  • Commit to diversity, inclusivity, and respect, and be willing to teach Commercial Banking courses, Real Estate, Wealth Management, and other courses as needed in face-to-face, hybrid, or online delivery formats.
  • Evidence of high-quality university-level teaching in Finance and related fields, and three or more years of industry experience in Commercial Banking.
