Job Title: PT Japanese Language Instructor

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time Japanese language instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching elementary, intermediate, and advanced Japanese language courses.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Japanese language courses to students of varying skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Japanese language or literature, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Japanese language courses at the community college level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
