Job Summary

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time American Sign Language Instructor to join our team. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Elementary American Sign Language and contributing to the academic success of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach American Sign Language courses to students of varying skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and retention.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in American Sign Language, Deaf Education, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching American Sign Language to students of varying skill levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This position is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
