Job Title: Contract Specialist

At PSG Global Solutions Careers, we are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist to join our team. As a Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in the execution of the sourcing process, including assisting in project assessment, developing project/sourcing strategy, evaluating supplier capabilities, and negotiating contracts to achieve financial and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with internal and external customers to execute the sourcing process
  • Assist in project assessment and develop project/sourcing strategy
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and negotiate contracts
  • Maintain strong working relationships and communications with customers and suppliers
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and managing contracts
  • Work closely with Procurement Buyers and the Sourcing Team to identify sourcing opportunities
  • Manage entire life cycle for commodities, including source selection, vendor oversight, and asset acquisition/disposition
  • Ensure supplier meets or exceeds quality, cost, and performance objectives
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of buying, sourcing, or related experience required
  • 3 years preferred experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Strong team-building and project management skills preferred
  • Experience in vendor oversight, including performance management/continuous improvement preferred
  • Proven track record of sustaining strong customer/supplier relationships preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical competence, such as experience with cost/benefit analysis preferred
  • Contracting and negotiation experience preferred
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work and drive change in a decentralized organization
  • Ability to formulate and deliver convincing presentations to a range of organizational counterparts
