**Job Summary**

Lifespan Corporation seeks a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Coordinator. This is a full-time position working shift 3 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.

As a Nurse Care Coordinator, you will provide direct patient care and leadership by delegating, supervising, and participating in safe nursing care activities provided by ancillary personnel. You will evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify opportunities for improvement, collaborate with the healthcare team, patient family, and community services regarding patient care outcomes/discharge planning, assess and provide appropriate teaching based on patient and family needs, participate in unit-based quality improvement and research activities, utilize all available resources to provide quality cost-effective patient care, meet and maintain clinical competencies measured by pre-determined credentialing standards, mandatory/safety education, and completion of Basic Life Support and ACLS/PALS as appropriate, identify growth needs, and participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

We are looking for a registered nurse with a baccalaureate in nursing preferred, current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Rhode Island, demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. Additionally, you must receive NIHSS certification within 3 months of hire and complete 8 hours of continuing stroke education annually.

**Benefits**

Lifespan Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and holidays.

**Estimated Salary:** $98,500 (base pay + benefits)
