Per Diem Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity at MD Anderson Cancer Center

The MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Per Diem Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join its Cardiology Laboratory department. This opportunity requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience performing echocardiography testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all modalities of echocardiography, including 2D, M-Mode, Color flow, and continuous wave Doppler.
- Echocardiographic assessment of stress echocardiography, pharmacological stress echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Analyze patient clinical history, identify examination purposes, and expand examinations as necessary.
- Perform quantitative analysis of echocardiographic studies, including systolic function, diastolic function, pulmonary pressure, and hemodynamic assessment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience performing echocardiography testing.
- Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
