Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Department at MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including routine, portable, and intraoperative procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in ultrasound imaging, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited program in ultrasound technology or radiologic technology.
  • Current certification in sonography (ARRT-S) or vascular sonography (ARRT-VS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
