Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Alabaster, AL team at Atlas Technical Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the Alabama and Coastal region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell and promote Atlas's services to potential clients in the infrastructure and environmental sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with planning and business executives across infrastructure agencies.
  • Build and manage sales pipelines to advance, invest in, or divest opportunities.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise proposal efforts in concert with the operations team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and challenges to focus on direct sales activities.
  • Make cold calls as necessary and report on progress.
  • Travel throughout the marketing territory to call on existing and potential customers.
  • Meet with two to three new potential clients per week.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or engineering in the Alabama and Coastal region.
  • Proven sales track record and established relationships in the Alabama and Coastal A/E/C industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Construction preferred.
  • Proven expertise and prior experience with clients' business development functions.
  • Motivated self-starter with good follow-through during the sales cycle.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple tasks.
