Position Overview

The Passenger Service Agent is responsible for delivering comprehensive airport and passenger assistance services. This includes handling reservations, ticket issuance, fare calculations, and managing refunds. The agent also oversees baggage handling, collects excess baggage fees, and provides essential travel information to passengers. Duties extend to meeting aircraft at the gate, assisting in departure lounges, and ensuring smooth boarding and deplaning processes. The agent verifies ticket validity, manages reservations, and prepares necessary flight documentation with precision.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer operations.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Exhibit leadership qualities, initiative, and sound judgment.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Additional language proficiency may be beneficial based on customer needs.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Capable of lifting items weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Perform physical tasks such as twisting, bending, and reaching during shifts.
