Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/Patient Coordinator to join our team at Schweiger Dermatology Group. As a Medical Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist providers in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures
  • Prepare exam rooms for procedures and properly clean after each visit
  • Take payments, book follow-up visits, and track inventory used during visits
  • Execute working knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws
  • Responsible for completing Daily Activity Report and proper financial duties

Requirements:

  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • 6 months - 1 year of experience working in a dermatology setting preferred
  • Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Medical Assistant certification strongly encouraged
