Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Recreation Services Attendant to join our team at Aspen Skiing Company. As a key member of our resort staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a memorable visit for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and helpful service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Activity Management: Safely operate and maintain on-mountain activities, including explaining regulations, policies, and procedures to guests.
  • Equipment Support: Assist guests with equipment, ensuring correct fit and proper use, and provide working knowledge of the course and equipment.
  • Information and Promotion: Answer questions, promote, and offer information about the resort, activities, and surrounding area.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Set up, operate, and break down work areas, ensuring a safe and neat environment.
  • Equipment Inspection: Clear, monitor, and inspect equipment, tracks, rides, or courses on a daily basis.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Report complaints and guest concerns to supervisors in a timely manner and check tickets, record attendance, sales, receipts, reservations, and repair of activities.
  • Customer Service: Collect, handle, and store ski/snowboard equipment and conduct market research surveys with on-site guests when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the guest service industry preferred.
  • Knowledge: General knowledge of the resort and area.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills and basic accounting skills preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in wet, cold, hot conditions, and may involve walking on slippery and uneven surfaces. The ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance is also required.
