Position Summary
The Line Cook plays a vital role in the preparation, production, and service of menu items under the guidance of the Restaurant Chef and Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure safe handling of food products in compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, participating in pre and post-shift cleaning tasks, including kitchen equipment and storage areas.
• Prepare and serve food items according to chef specifications.
• Follow daily preparation lists to guarantee readiness for service.
• Assist in the storage of food deliveries.
• Report any issues regarding food products or kitchen equipment to the Chef or Sous Chef.
• Operate various food stations within the restaurant with a high level of skill and consistency.
• Engage with guests during service in a servery restaurant, addressing any concerns that arise.
• Keep management informed of guest feedback and issues.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of various cooking techniques, including baking, grilling, and sautéing.
• Safely utilize knives and instruct others on their proper use.
• Operate kitchen equipment and train others on its use.
• Assist in training new staff as directed by the Restaurant Chef and Sous Chef.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Culinary school graduate preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
• Previous guest service experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, is required.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification is preferred.
• Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level is required for employees in ski-in/ski-out restaurants.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Regularly work in wet, hot, and humid conditions and navigate slippery surfaces.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
