We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at WKY Development LLC Oak Grove. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing internal controls and procedures to mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance and Risk Management
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas of risk and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with departmental directors and managers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Compliance
- Develop and implement AML and BSA compliance programs to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
- Conduct regular reviews of transaction logs and negotiable instrument logs to ensure compliance with AML and BSA regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to departmental staff on AML and BSA compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with departmental directors and managers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with departmental directors and managers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance programs.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on compliance matters.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, finance, law).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, or analytical position.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of AML and BSA regulations.
- Experience with internal controls and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
