Job Description

Capital Community Bank is seeking a highly skilled CRA Compliance Officer to manage all aspects of the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of state and federal banking compliance regulations and be able to create, deploy, and manage systems and controls to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CRA compliance programs and procedures.
  • Coordinate and assist in the administration of independent, state, and federal CRA examinations, reviews, and audits.
  • Monitor and track CRA-related information to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on CRA compliance.
  • Prepare and compile reports as scheduled or upon request from management.

Requirements:

  • Subject matter expert on Community Reinvestment Act requirements and regulations.
  • Three to five years of experience in managing CRA requirements and communicating required changes and revisions to rules and regulations.
  • Experience with managing the CRA Compliance Examination process and proactively engaging with regulators.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and make critical decisions regarding CRA compliance with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write and revise policies and procedures for new and emerging regulatory developments and concerns.
