Surgical Technologist Level II

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Brookline, Massachusetts.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with surgeons and nurses to ensure the smooth and efficient function of the operating room.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sterile techniques and be able to work quickly and accurately in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and sterile workspace for patients and staff.
- Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, providing support and guidance throughout the surgical process.
- Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting required.
- Preferred experience: Associate degree, 4 years' experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting, committee and leadership experience.
