About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and sterile workspace for patients and staff.
  • Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, providing support and guidance to surgeons and nurses as needed.
  • Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure the efficient functioning of the operating room, including coordinating patient flow and managing surgical supplies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree.
  • 4 years' experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
  • Committee and leadership experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
