Surgical Technologist Level II

About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Brookline, Massachusetts.

This is a 36-hour per week position with a 12-hour night shift schedule.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sterile techniques and be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience.
  • Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure smooth and efficient function of the operating room.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and patients to provide exceptional care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting required.
