Position Overview:
The official title for this role is Project Manager, Salesforce.

In this capacity, you will spearhead the effective development and deployment of Salesforce for a network of 500 sales personnel across North America.

This initiative encompasses a substantial strategy/change management effort alongside a thorough IT tool implementation.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with the regional project team, global stakeholders, local business units, data teams, and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of this program.

Your responsibilities will include managing the project scope, timeline, budget, risks, and change requests associated with this implementation.

This project comprises multiple sub-projects, and you will be tasked with integrating these components to ensure that all dependencies are effectively managed and the overall program is delivered successfully.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be personable and driven, and have the capability to manage various priorities effectively while meeting deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee project scope documents, schedules/project plans, resource requirements, risks, and communications
  • Maintain primary communication with sub-project teams to monitor project activities and deliverable progress
  • Provide regular status updates to program management and sponsors
  • Oversee project plan details, timelines, and ensure accountability for tasks
  • Organize workshops, offsite training sessions, and meeting schedules, including logistics such as room reservations and catering
  • Structure and maintain central program documentation
  • Conduct effective meetings, ensuring accurate information, clear deliverables, and defined expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and all relevant stakeholders
  • Analyze and challenge assumptions to identify opportunities for risk mitigation

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Salesforce implementation projects, particularly in launching Salesforce for sales teams
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce products, features, and industry best practices
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMI, Scrum) or equivalent (PMP Certification and/or Six Sigma certification is advantageous)
  • Experience in managing critical project situations and implementing corrective actions to realign projects
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to promptly address project challenges
  • Proven project and risk management capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and resources effectively
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading large projects and teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management software applications and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, JIRA, MS Project)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated customer focus, ensuring project teams prioritize creating value for end users
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Certification and experience in Salesforce
  • Ability to provide guidance and training on Salesforce navigation and features

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.

Additional Information:
This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
