Position Overview

The Custodian is tasked with executing a designated set of cleaning responsibilities in accordance with the established standards of DeSales University. This role requires a commitment to professionalism and the ability to adapt to varying building schedules while effectively serving our community of students, staff, and faculty. The position emphasizes teamwork and efficiency in a collaborative environment.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred experience of two years, though not mandatory.
  • Willingness to work overtime as requested by the supervisor.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary for travel between buildings.
  • Must hold Essential Personnel Status for the University.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to issues related to ethnicity, disability, and diversity.
  • Commitment to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution.
