Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Care Technician to join our team at Campus Services Group, part of Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a Floor Care Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various areas, including offices, lobbies, classrooms, entrances, stairwells, and other public spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform floor care duties, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting of hard surface and carpeted areas.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow established guidelines to ensure quality standards, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
  • Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adhering to all safety precautions.
  • Collect trash and recycling for proper disposal.
  • Represent HCSG in a positive manner and embody the characteristics necessary to drive the Company's Purpose, Vision, Values, and DNA.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous school custodial/janitorial experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 1/2 years' experience in floor care is preferred, but on-site training is provided.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, cooperate with co-workers and staff, and perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
