Job Description:

Stine Seed Company, a leading national seed company, is seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to join our team in the Southern Illinois region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Stine seed products and services to effectively promote them to customers.
  • Manage existing dealer relationships and identify new opportunities to increase sales and expand the company's presence in the region.
  • Collaborate with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide technical support and guidance to customers and dealers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Proven success in dealer development and retention.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet established sales goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values.
  • Ability to achieve desired results through effective sales and customer service strategies.
