Patient Service Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Covenant Health (Tennessee).
Key Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support for patient service functions related to check-out operations
Collects and processes encounter form data
Collects and totals outstanding balances and payments for services rendered
Balances work and computer at end of day
Requirements:
One year of experience in a medical office setting with working knowledge of clinic appointment scheduling, collection, and ICD-9/10 and CPT-4 coding (charge entry)
OR three years of total customer-facing/customer service experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
