Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Child Clinical Psychology to join our faculty at Northern Illinois University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the Department of Psychology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in child clinical psychology, including assessment, intervention, and research methods.
  • Conduct research in child clinical psychology, including the development and evaluation of interventions for children and adolescents.
  • Supervise graduate students in research and clinical practicum settings.
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and outreach activities.
Requirements

A Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology or a related field is required. The successful candidate will have a strong research program, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to service.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, regular position with a 1.00 FTE. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced academic environment with a diverse student body.
