Paraprofessional Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at The Menta Education Group. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and behavioral needs of our students.

• Provide targeted teaching and support to students in the classroom, working closely with classroom instructors and staff.
• Manage classroom behaviors and implement behavioral program policies and data.
• Report behavioral concerns of students to appropriate staff and provide interventions to assist in managing behaviors.
• Assist in the prevention and management of incidents of non-compliance and/or escalation in behavior.
• Provide general supervision of students inside the school setting and maintain alertness for problems likely to disrupt the educational process or to be a safety concern.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide support to students in need.

• Paraprofessional experience is highly desirable.
• Security or Juvenile Justice background is an asset.
• Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to operate tactfully under stress and flexibility to change in routines.
• At least 23 years of age and able to work with high-risk special needs students.
• Good driving record and willingness to drive student van is strongly preferred.
