Home Visitor

Brightpoint, formerly known as Children's Home & Aid, is seeking a skilled Home Visitor to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Home Visitor, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive, long-term home-visiting services to high-risk expectant parents and families with young children.

• Conduct regular home visits to assess the strengths and needs of children and families, and develop personalized goals and services.
• Provide observations and feedback on parent-child interactions, and engage parents in reflective dialogue on their developing relationships.
• Assist families in connecting with community resources, including early intervention, mental health, and healthcare services.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key community providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
• May assist with facilitating parent support groups to foster a sense of community and connection among families.

• Associate's degree in Social Work, Child Development, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience working with families with children under the age of 5.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of child development and parent-child relationships, with the ability to apply a strengths-based, family-centered service model.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle for in-person visits.
