Job Title: Senior Product Manager - Energy Management

PowerFlex Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our energy management platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our energy management portal (Axcess).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for PowerFlex's energy management portal (Axcess)
  • Collaborate closely with customers, customer service, asset management, and business development teams to understand and meet their needs
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from understanding customer needs, writing specs, prototyping, delivering beta and production functionality, measuring results, and iterating
  • Work closely with other product managers to ensure integrated product development and the seamless operation of solutions
  • Be a user experience champion (working closely with UX) to ensure that the user experience is intuitive, scalable, and optimizes for key use cases

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as a product manager
  • Strong background working for one or more technology companies as a product manager
  • Experience with EV charging hardware, photovoltaic systems, or battery storage products
  • Solid understanding of the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to launch and post-launch support, with a strong track record of bringing successful products to market
  • Startup experience preferred
  • A strong interest in renewable energy preferred

  • A competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 annually

Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a seated position for long periods
  • Long hours on computer keyboard
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking

Working Conditions:

  • Approximately 80% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers, telephones, and general office equipment
  • Possibly 20% of the time is spent traveling to conferences or meetings or field traveling to project sites
