Role Summary: As the Director of Patient Financial Services, you will oversee the daily management of all revenue cycle operations within our organization. This role serves as a critical link between our financial services and clinical teams, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operations related to Patient Access, including pre-registration, benefit verification, and admissions, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to address revenue cycle performance metrics, focusing on collections, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate Patient Access performance to guarantee compliance with service agreements and operational excellence.
- Supervise Patient Access staff, providing guidance on hiring, promotions, and policy updates.
- Identify opportunities for cost control and process enhancement while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of management experience in healthcare, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role focused on patient access or revenue cycle.
Additional Insights:
- Experience with electronic health records systems is beneficial.
