Sutter Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian II to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian II, you will be responsible for providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and/or Diabetes Self-management Education/Training (DSMT) to patients.
Responsibilities:- Implement patient care plans based on diagnosis and provide timely interventions.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and monitoring.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
- Completion of an accredited degree program and a supervised practice program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- RD-Registered Dietitian/RDN-Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification or eligibility to sit for the registration examination within 90 days of hire.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, pathophysiology, pharmacology, laboratory results, and medical terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information to diverse audiences.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including prioritization and work within standardized operating procedures.
- Competitive hourly rate of $50.21 to $65.25.
