Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in nursing care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Minimum of six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I with Alameda Health System or equivalent experience at a comparable level in a minimum 100-bed hospital or in the area of specialty.
- Preferred certifications include TNCC, CCRN, and ACLS.
This is a full-time, night shift position at Highland General Hospital. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings.
