We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and other essential patient care activities.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives individualized care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- At least six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I with AHS or the equivalent of one year full-time recent experience at a comparable level in a minimum 100-bed hospital or in the area of specialty.
- Preferred certifications include TNCC, CCRN, ACLS, and BLS.
