Insurance Business Development Specialist

As a leading insurance marketplace, we connect millions of shoppers to our network of insurance partners. Our team is dedicated to driving growth and success for insurance agencies through cutting-edge technology.
This role offers an estimated annual salary of $90,000, plus uncapped commissions and performance bonuses. Top performers can earn up to $150,000 within two years.
Key Responsibilities:
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS: Foster connections with clients, ensuring their needs are met and revenue maximized through our platform.
- CUSTOMIZE SOLUTIONS: Recommend tailored product offerings that align with the specific goals of insurance agents, addressing their needs with precision.
- LEAD CLIENT ACCOUNT REVIEWS: Evaluate performance, manage budgets, and ensure client satisfaction with our services.
- Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet and exceed revenue targets by focusing on client retention, cross-selling, and upselling, always prioritizing the success of agency partners.
- SERVE AS PRIMARY POINT OF CONTACT: Ensure clients have the support and resources needed to achieve their business objectives with SmartFinancial.
- DELIVER AN EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE: Provide insurance agents with the tools and support necessary to grow their business and achieve their objectives using our platform.
Requirements:
- MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF SALES OR ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, WITH A FOCUS ON BUILDING STRONG CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS.
- PROVEN ABILITY TO CONNECT WITH INSURANCE AGENTS AND UNDERSTAND THEIR UNIQUE NEEDS AND CHALLENGES.
- EXPERIENCE WITH HIGH-VOLUME CALLING.
- INSURANCE OR MARKETPLACE EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY VALUED.
- STRONG COMMUNICATION AND NEGOTIATION SKILLS, WITH THE ABILITY TO CLEARLY ARTICULATE THE VALUE OF OUR PLATFORM TO INSURANCE AGENTS.
- IMPECCABLE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND A TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESS IN SALES.
